Objective

Empower doctors by letting them access what they need easily.

A doctor-to-doctor platform where a dermatology doctor can get a consultation on a case from another doctor was the main product feature when I joined the company. In addition to that, the company had just added one more feature where doctors can share any medical knowledge with many other doctors. The two types of platforms were all mixed in one app, which was making it hard to use.

My job was to establish the UX that lets doctors easily utilize the tool for their daily work.

I did

  • run a series of internal workshop for cleaning up user motivations and the app structure
  • create conceptual prototypes and run external user tests with doctors
  • create the UI design for iOS, Android, and Web app
  • create and manage Hippocra design system
  • update the identity design
  • create marketing collaterals such as motion graphics and marketing landing pages

Above are the initial sketches I quickly made on the iPad after cleaning up user motivations.

We created these concept UI in Sketch and developed the prototype in Prott. With the prototype, we ran 7 sessions of user tests with doctors and further iterated and fine-tuned it based on the findings.

Here are the majority of screens I designed and the Hippocra UI design system in Sketch.

With this product renewal, polishing the Hippocra brand identity was also crucial so doctors can perceive the product as a reliable tool for their work.

Using these branding assets and rules, many marketing collaterals were created. Here is one of the examples.
