Thanks for making it really clear. I totally know which one to turn on when I am trying to find some midnight snack in the kitchen.
This is a common problem among any button-involved product design no matter if it is in our tangible world or intangible world. We like consistency but we don’t like consistency that creates confusion.
When users add more stuff to the original design, there is urgent need for further improvement and we should not ignore that.
This was my Sunday night activity, iPhone 5S vector mockup.
Feel free to download.
Recently, I went to Marin Headlands to shoot Golden Gate bridge in the very early morning. San francisco is known for a fog city. Towards the night, the fog tends to come in and cover up the entire city. Towards the day, it goes away. Those are the moments I want to capture. And here are the one of them.
Luckily, there was a very short amount of time that the fog cleared away and I took bunch of pictures like a crazy paparazzi.
Hope you enjoy these pictures.
I took Caltrain with my friend Cesar to go explore San Mateo since we both had a day off today. It was a good relaxing day. Here are some pictures I took.
Ferrying instead of Barting because the weather was really nice today. I didn’t even know we could use Clipper card until today. That’s a good move, Bay area.
These are the pictures I took when I went to Oakland the other day. It is just funny that this was actually first time for me to spend my day in Oakland even though I live right across the bay. Oakland is known for a really dangerous area in general but it is also a really historic city with very tasty architectures like Paramount Theatre and Fox Theater. I definitely need to explore this city more often.
This is a picture I took when we wandered around Kyoto, Japan. Golden Temple!
This building was our view from a cafe across the street. Each building in Tokyo has so many stories of so many people.
I created these logo buttons just for fun…
These are Gummi Bears I created. Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom.
I created some vector candies a couple of months ago. Don’t eat too much kids!
If you have watched American Dad before, you might recognize this poster by now. Steve Smith from the tv show has a cool poster in his room. So I made it.
These are two small animated logos I recently got asked to create for a LVL aka Lightyear Vision League promotional video. It is all done in cinema 4d to 3d model and animate them. It was really fun to play with cinema 4d because it had been a while since I created something in motion using the program. Both of them are used in the promotional video. You can check it out from the link below.
For those who don’t know about LVL, it is a clothing brand/company established in 2010 by Zach Garcia and located in Hawaii and soon in San Francisco and Tokyo. I am a member of LVL that enhances its production.
I got an opportunity to create a “cool” rabbit character for a web app that our company developed. Even though this is not the one we decided to use after we developed further more from this initial point, I decided to introduce this super cool hero to the world.
This reminded me of my childhood where I used to draw so many anime characters just for fun wishing school home work would go away from me. Maybe I should name him…
A collage I created with magazine scraps.
This is what I drew on iPhone with my finger. Zen Brush is the best thing to kill your time.
